Sunday Worship, June 21st: God’s Transformative Work In Us Part Two

In 1 Thessalonians 1, Paul highlights the evidence of God’s transforming work in the lives of believers. As God changes our hearts, that transformation becomes visible to others and points them to Christ. A transformed life becomes an example of faith, hope, and obedience.

This week we explored how God’s work is evident when others see Christ through us, when we turn from sin and embrace the things of God, and when our lives reflect genuine change. We also saw that God’s transformative work shapes us to live with hopeful anticipation of Jesus’ return.

The Thessalonian believers became a powerful example of what a transformed life looks like. May we also allow God to continue His work in us so that our lives encourage others and bring glory to Him.
